The Alpha Version of EventSpan: A Taste of What's To Come
Welcome to the alpha version of EventSpan, launched today. This is our public test mode and gives us a chance to show the rudimentary features in Version 1 of EventSpan to various players in the web event services market. Our alpha version is like a lick of the brownie batter before the product is fully baked. As you can see on the site there are now just a few events (some not fully populated with the richness of media that EventSpan affords), an expert speaker profile, and an industry professional profile or two. As indicated in our preview post, we're not fully seeding it with pre-loaded user-generated content. Over time in subsequent versions, the benefits of this search, syndication, and social networking service will become apparent as we add more lead-generation apps, e-commerce ticketing, and other newswire features to EventSpan. We'll also be making ongoing design tweaks and feature adjustments to optimize the service.Event marketers, industry professionals, and expert speakers are encouraged to sign up now and post and syndicate their events or display their profiles in the growing web event services market. Technology service providers who power web events are encouraged to contact us to receive a proposal to advertise a content-managed profile page on EventSpan.
