Are you struggling to achieve your goals? If you are, it’s easy to blame your struggles (especially if they are financial) on the recession. It's a very convenient scapegoat.

Unfortunately, the recession is not the real cause of your challenges. All it has done is cast a bright spotlight on problems that were previously hidden by the “bubble economy.”

If the recession is not the problem, what is?

That’s a good question. The answer has three main pieces. Let’s look at each of them separately:

1. Conflict Between the Members of Your Inner Family

You may have heard of your Inner Child. But, did you know you actually have an entire Inner Family? It consists of a very young self (2-3 years old), a young child self (7-8 years old), a teenage self (13-14 years old) and a wise adult self.

This Inner Family represents the emotional stages of growth in your life. If there is conflict between any of your inner selves, it can cause you to sabotage your own success! But, when harmony is established among your inner selves, it creates a foundation for success that lasts.

2. Lack of Alignment with Your Core Values

If your actions are not in alignment with your core values, the resulting conflict usually creates disruption and failure. Unfortunately there is nothing in our educational system or most work environments that will help you identify your core values, much less determine whether your actions are in alignment with them. You’re doomed to almost certain failure before you begin!

3. Ideal Outcomes Not Defined

When you set goals and objectives, do they define what you really want to accomplish? If you aren’t in touch with your core values, how could you possibly establish viable goals and objectives (other than through dumb luck)?

Want to learn how to create Your Ideal Outcomes?

Michelle Rigg covers all 15 Ideal Outcome System™ steps during six highly interactive, weekly, 1.5 hour teleconference calls. You will also receive downloadable worksheets and assignments, plus an MP3 recording of each call.

What are the dates and times of the calls?
