Audits are on the rise, and honest, successful suppliers are suddenly finding themselves thrown into the spotlight of a MAC, RAC, or ZPIC audit without warning. Many DME suppliers are now struggling to survive under a chokehold of prepay reviews and many more have spent valuable time appealing massive numbers of overpayments.

With the increased focus on Medicare fraud, legitimate suppliers are finding themselves subject to undue scrutiny from heavy-handed audit contractors. However, by knowing what these contractors are looking for, you can take proactive measures to prepare for audits and help increase your chances of receiving a favorable decision.

In the event that you are audited, Andrea will walk you through the entire audit process step-by-step, from the moment you receive a request for additional documentation, through the time you submit your initial response and (if necessary) your appeal. Most importantly, Andrea will ensure you gain a clear understanding of your full rights while undergoing an audit.
